Although Dave Ellefson is a founding member of Megadeth, he and frontman Dave Mustaine had a falling out in 2002 that actually disbanded the group for a time. When Megadeth re-formed shortly after, Ellefson was not in the line-up. Early last year, the Daves (Ellefson and Mustaine) patched up… Continue

The Alex Jones Show – L I V E – September 25th 2009 With Dave Mustaine
Alex Jones welcomes to the show Dave Mustaine, guitarist, main songwriter, and vocalist for the heavy metal band Megadeth to talk about the band’s latest album entitled Endgame.
A few years ago I was in Seattle, preparing to film the first round of After the Catch. For those of you unfamiliar with the program, After the Catch is a talk show in a bar, where The Captains and crew from Deadliest Catch gather to chat about this and that. I impersonate a moderator, and do my best
to keep things on the rails. (Think Charlie Rose with cigarettes… Continue

Hello, it's Torch from ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. Well, it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that I have to quit the show for an indefinite amount of time. I've been soul-searching the last month or two about this and I simply can't justify putting the 30 hours a week into the program anymore.
First of all, the music world has changed drastically, it seems very few people care about hearing new music anymore. Also, the labels have all… Continue

It deeply saddens me to announce the passing of The Acid Chimp. He passed quickly in his home of a heart attack at the young age of 37 on June 22nd. Given the birth name of Alan Schafer, he was known by most of his friends as “Big Al”, but globally he was adored as “The Acid Chimp”. In the coming weeks I will decide about the future of The Hairball John Radio Show but at this time I morn the loss of a… Continue
