SAVE THE COMICS CAMPAIGN

http://michaelnetzer.com/mnop/?cat=258

In light of recent developments in the comics creator community and talk of a grass roots movement to bolster creator owned properties outside of traditional comics venues, Michael Netzer calls for a new PR effort to compel DC and Marvel to adapt their business policy towards rescuing the comic book publishing business from the floundering state it’s been in for decades. The goal of the campaign is to take the case into the mainstream media in order to pressure DC and Marvel to reconsider their business strategies.

.

We stand at a critical junction for the comics industry. We have the momentum and spirit to affect a change in how the business of comic book publishing is being conducted by DC and Marvel which sets the tone for most others. Public pressure has always been the only deterrent for such irresponsible behavior by the powers that hold the keys to change.

.

Please show your support by signing the petition and spreading the word.
