ROCK AND A HARD PLACE RADIO SHOW TO TAKE A BREAK

Hello, it's Torch from ROCK AND A HARD PLACE. Well, it is with a heavy heart that I must tell you that I have to quit the show for an indefinite amount of time. I've been soul-searching the last month or two about this and I simply can't justify putting the 30 hours a week into the program anymore.
First of all, the music world has changed drastically, it seems very few people care about hearing new music anymore. Also, the labels have all resorted to digital downloading and they are often disorganized and don't seem to understand the value of airplay. I have tried for many years to find sponsors for the show with no luck. I feel I have an excellent quality product, but I just havn't been in the right place at the right time.

I want to say THANKS to everyone who has supported the show over the years, I have been some life-long friends, and hopefully we can all work together in the future!

I will continue to send out past show until you are able to fill the spots.... it is possible I might be doing a monthly show for podcast in the new year, so if there is any interest to run the show for a special occasion that is certainly possible. But I simply cannot keep up the pace of a weekly show. The website will continue and I havn't completely closed the door on the show, but for now it's time to step away.
